【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedforobtainingaqualitativeestimateofthecompatibilityofplasticsandadhesives.Duetothemanyprocessvariablesassociatedwiththefabricationofplasticparts,itisnotpossibletousethistestasasubstituteforcompatibilitytestsonactualparts.Thedetectionofcracksorcrazesmaybedeterminedwithorwithoutopticalaid.Makecomparisonsonlyamongtestsemployingcrackdetectionmethodsofequivalentsensitivity.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingthecompatibilityofadhesiveswithplasticsbasedonwhethertheadhesivecausescrackingofstressedsamples.1.2Specimenconfigurationsandtestfixturedesignsaregiven.1.3Thistestmethodissuitableforproductsintheformofsheetorstrip.Itcanalsobeusedoninjectionmoldedtensilespecimensorflexuralbars.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
